Since the founding of the Iowa Arabian Horse Association on February 26, 1944, our purpose has been to encourage the use of the Arabian and Half/Anglo Arabian Horse. We currently sponsor four Class "A" Shows and one "B" rated Amateur Show in addition to trail rides and fun shows throughout the summer.

Membership in this association offers many outstanding benefits for young and old alike.  We offer two college scholarships each year.  One to a graduating senior and one continuing education for an adult.

We proudly sponsor one of the RICHEST futurties in the world -- The Iowa Gold Star Stallion Futurity which includes halter and performance classes in addition to a stallion service auction.  These classes, held in conjunction with our Fall Classic Show, will be awarding over $100,000.00 in prize money in 2007.

We welcome anyone interested in the Arabian or Half/Anglo Arabian Horse to join us. New faces and old are always welcome.  Ownership of a horse is not necessary.
